Matt Bottrill Performance Coaching

After a really successful 2014 season and really positive experience of working with Andrea Whitcombe (from thetrilife coaching) the decision to move to a bike specific coach was a tough one but coming from a running background I knew I had loads to gain. And if I wanted to get fast on a bike who better than Multi National Time Trialling Champion Matt Bottrill!.

I remember emailing Matt asking if he would consider coaching a girl…. He’s probably regretting it now but I couldn’t believe it when he said yes! So very happy to say I’ve been coached by Matt since Feb 2015 and in my first season knocked over 4mins off my 25 mile time trial time. It’s great that Matt understands the demands of trying to balance work, family and training and his transition to Triathlon means he can relate to having to work on more than one discipline.  But more than that, Matt is a great guy.  I have so much respect for everything he has achieved and I feel very lucky to be part of his team.

Team Bottrill

Announced in Jan 2016, Team Bottrill is a cycling team exclusive to the coached riders of Matt Bottrill, Gareth Pymm and Dan Barnett of Matt Bottrill Performance Coaching Ltd and Bob Tobin of CyclePowerMeters.

But more that that Team Bottrill is run by Matt’s family so there’s a really family feel and the support and encouragement from the other riders is brilliant.  Everyone genuinely wants you to do well.

Its been an incredible first year for TB with some amazing rider results, all credit to Matt, the coaches and everyone involved.

I’m so proud to be part of the team and looking forward to many more seasons together.

Why not give them a follow on Twitter and Instagram to hear all the latest news.

TRiKS – Kidderminster & Stourport Triathlon Club

I joined the TRiKS family in 2015 after meeting Jacqui and her husband Mark at races. Always friendly and helpful we hit it off straight away and although I don’t get to the organised training sessions as often as I’d like I feel very much part of the team and love catching up at races or club events.  Its really great to be part of such a fantastically supportive and fun team.

The club has also recently started mini TRiKS for children from aged 8, so I cant wait until Lillie is old enough to get involved too.

Why not check them out on Facebook or via the TRiKS Website
